WHAT HAPPENS IF BAD WEATHER?
The Uinta Range is prone to ever changing weather. Most people say "just wait an hour" because the weather changes so rapidly. Due to this we as an outfitter are under no obligation to issue refunds or discounts as clearly stated in our cancellation policy. You are welcome to rebook or to use a credit towards future rentals. You will not be given a credit if you have already used your rental/tour time even with bad weather. Please come prepared with necessary ride gear for the weather.
WHAT IS THE CONDITION OF YOUR EQUIPMENT?
We offer Razor XP 4 1000 Premium machines. Vehicles are current year models with low miles/hours and are inspected after every ride.
WHAT IS THE MINIMUM AGE TO RENT A VEHICLE
You must be 18 years old with a valid drivers license to rent any of our equipment. If you have minor passengers in the vehicle (under 18) the renter/driver is required to be 25 years old.
DO YOU HAVE ANY MAPS IN THE AREA?
We are thrilled to offer each of our customers a Digital Mapping System, conveniently in your vehicle! Trail systems and options will be offered to you during check out! We also have access to hard copies of maps.
CAN YOU DELIVER THE MACHINE?
We no longer deliver our machines to other locations due to the fact that we are already located near all popular trailheads.
WHAT ARE YOUR HOURS OF OPERATION?
Our hours of operation vary throughout the year but are at the minimum 9-5:00pm for the majority of the year. We follow the light of day and will normally allow you to enjoy the day start to finish! We believe in all day adventure!
CAN I TOW THE MACHINE MYSELF
Unfortunately, we as the outfitter are the only ones authorized to transport our vehicles by trailer. As a Polaris Adventures Outfitter this is a strict policy we must uphold.
CAN I STORE FOOD IN THE MACHINE?
Yes, there is room near the floorboards in the machines for backpacks and other items. We do not allow you to strap fuel to any of our machines as this is a hazard to your safety. You are also not permitted to overload the vehicle.
Coolers are also available for rental to keep drinks cold. Drinking alcohol and oppertationg the is strictly prohibited.
HOW LONG WITH A TANK OF GAS LAST?
The time and distance our machines will last depends on the driving style, terrain, and payload. However, most of the time, a full tank should last a full day. All machines have gas gauges for your convenience. If gas is needed during your rental you can drive back to our main office for a refill.
DO YOU REQUIRE A DAMAGE DEPOSIT?
A security deposit is required to rent any equipment. It will be a minimum of $1,000 depending on the equipment rented. When Refunded: It takes approximately 7-10 business days to show the authorization voided. If damage has occured, it may take longer after the damage has been investigated.
WHAT IS YOUR LATE RETURN POLICY?
Late returns on vehicles will be charged as such:
- 30min+ Late on Return: $60 - 1hr+ Late on Return: $125 - 2hr+ Late on Return: Full Day Rental Cost

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
Our cancellation policy requires a **72 hour notice** or you will be billed 25% of the rental price.
**Same Day Cancellations** will be billed the **FULL price** of the Rental.
Moreover, **late returns** on vehicles will be charged as such: - 30min+ Late on Return: $60 - 1hr+ Late on Return: $125 - 2hr+ Late on Return: Full Day Rental Cost
If you would like to reschedule, we will give you a credit to be used within 18 months. When the equipment is reserved, it is no longer available for other customers and as such Mad Moose Rentals cannot commit the equipment to another customer during the reserved dates. There are NO cancellations on holidays. If you reserve something on a holiday and cancel without a 72 hour notice you will be charged the FULL PRICE of your rental.
DO I NEED AN OHV PERMIT?
All of our vehicles have current registration and permits, and this is not the responsibility of the customer.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE RENTAL?
All reservations will include the following: • Fuel • Safety Gear (helmets for all riders and passengers • GPS Mapping • Basic Damage Waiver • Unlimited Miles
WHAT HAPPENS IF UINTA ADVENTURES CANCELS MY RESERVATION?
Under circumstances such as vehicles going down for maintenance or other reasons, we may be required to cancel a reservation. In this event, you may rent a different machine, or you will be fully refunded your reservation.
WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS FOR MINOR PASSENGERS?
If anyone is under 18 years of age (“minor passenger”), the Parent or Legal Guardian will need to sign the waiver agreement on their behalf, and they must be under the Parent or Legal Guardian’s supervision at all times. There is no minimum age requirement, but as a passenger you must be able to grasp the handhold with your feet firmly planted on the ground and your back fully against the seat backrest. Minors are not allowed to drive the vehicle.
WHAT SHOULD HAPPEN IF I AM IN AN ACCIDENT WHILE RIDING?
If you are seriously injured, immediately contact 911 for help, or utilize the provided personal locator beacon if you are outside of cellular range. This should only be used in life threatening circumstances. If all members of your party are safe and not injured, call or text Customer Support at 435-671-2668 for the next steps.
WHAT IS IN THE BASIC DAMAGE WAIVER?
The Basic Damage Waiver Program is included for all Members. The program limits the out of pocket costs to $3000, should damage to the vehicle occur during an experience. You may also upgrade to the Premium Damage Waiver which lowers the limit to $1500. A $50 credit card fee is billed if the damage waiver is not paid in cash.

We are seasonal! The summer months in Northern Utah are very pleasant and are often the best months to rent our equipment.
